Helmsie Summer Sale Campaign

Social Media | Email Marketing | Pinterest Advertising

For Helmsie’s Summer Sale, I created and executed a cohesive, multi-channel campaign designed to boost seasonal sales and engagement.

  • Instagram Feed Design:
I curated a cohesive, summery feed using soft, seasonal tones (peach, blush, and warm neutrals) and custom Canva templates. The feed combined lifestyle imagery, product highlights, and playful graphics to create a warm and inviting summer vibe. Stories were used to promote limited-time offers and drive urgency with countdowns and product tags.
  • Pinterest Campaign:
I designed and launched a Pinterest ad campaign to expand reach and drive traffic to the Summer Sale page. Pins were optimized for performance and brand alignment—featuring shoppable imagery, keyword-rich descriptions, and vertical formats tailored to Pinterest’s visual-first audience.
  • Email Marketing:
I created a series of branded email campaigns to promote the sale. Each email was mobile-optimized and visually aligned with the summer aesthetic. Emails included featured products, clear CTAs, and engaging subject lines to encourage click-throughs and conversions.

This cross-platform approach ensured visual and messaging consistency while increasing visibility and conversions during the sale period.

Helmsie Campaign

For my UGA capstone project, my team and I collaborated with Helmsie, a local Athens business, to address their specific needs. Over four months, we managed a real budget, executed strategies in real time, and provided actionable feedback to the brand. We created a six-month content calendar, developed a comprehensive brand kit, produced a library of high-quality content, and facilitated their involvement in local events. With defined roles, we worked collaboratively to deliver tangible results, gaining valuable experience in teamwork, strategic planning, and real-world client collaboration.

Creative Brief

I was tasked with selecting a local Athens-based company and formulating a dynamic creative strategy aimed at rebranding and propelling the company forward.

Rebranding

These projects encompassed the rebranding of both a podcast cover and an advertisement. I selected particular podcasts/advertisements and utilized Photoshop to infuse them with my distinct vision and style, resulting in captivating and personalized designs.

Case Study

In this detailed case study, our team was tasked with analyzing a prominent museum in Chicago. Our research delved deep into understanding their target audience and visitor statistics, allowing us to craft a strategic plan aimed at optimizing the museum's budget allocation, scheduling, and fostering innovative ideas to outpace competitors within the Chicago area. Through the development of clear objectives, a thorough SWOT analysis, and a curated new media mix, we aimed to empower the museum to thrive in a competitive landscape while ensuring a dynamic and engaging visitor experience.

Logos

Here are a collection of logos I've crafted, each one a unique embodiment of brand identity and vision. From sleek modern designs to timeless classics, my logos reflect a fusion of creativity, strategy, and attention to detail.

Art Movement Study

In this exploration of art movements, I delved into the vibrant world of street graffiti, a powerful medium for expressing raw emotions and opinions. Through my work, I portrayed the iconic Statue of Liberty as a symbol of freedom and hope, compared to the bold graffiti overlays that encapsulate the diverse spectrum of public sentiment and emotion.

Personal Exhibition Collage

While exploring Italy last summer, I found myself captivated by the stunning graffiti and vibrant posters adorning the various districts. Inspired by these visual narratives, I wanted to capture the essence of Italian street art by blending elements of graffiti and posters, resulting in a compelling collage reflecting my immersive experience.

Brand Mantra

I created my very own brand, meticulously crafting its identity, vision, and essence. Through a detailed vision board, I defined the color palette, visual aesthetic, and product offerings of Winona's Barkuterie. With a focus on delivering an excellent brand experience, I strategically outlined the unique journey visitors would embark on when stepping into Winona's Barkuterie, compelling my target audience to choose it as their destination of choice. Every aspect of the brand, from its values to its aspirations, was thoughtfully curated to resonate with people and inspire connection.

Texture

I walked around campus, capturing intriguing layouts and textures through photography. Each photo served as the foundation for a digital redesign, where I overlaid multiple images to craft visually captivating compositions. Through this process, I aimed to create dynamic pieces that not only highlight the diversity of textures but evoke visually appealing pieces.

Copywriting

I was given original instagram posts for Creature Comforts and Jittery Joes that were lacking creativity. I was then instructed to create my own captions that were engaging and specific to the brands target audience. I maintained a clear and concise writing style, integrating visual elements strategically and developing compelling calls to action.
